Delete your Balchron account

You can ask us to delete your Balchron account and the personal information linked to it at any time. You don't need the app installed to do this.
How to request deletion
- Email support@alephveclabs.com from the email address you signed up with.
- Use the subject “Delete my Balchron account” and include your Balchron username.
- We'll confirm receipt, verify the request came from the account owner, and delete the account within 30 days. We'll email you when it's done.
Can't use that email address any more? Write to us from another address with your username and the email you registered, and we'll help you verify ownership another way.
What we delete
- Your account and sign-in record: email address, password hash and active sessions.
- Your profile details: name, cell number, username, region and language.
What may be kept, and for how long
- Shot recordings are not linked to your account, so deleting the account doesn't remove them. To have yours deleted too, tell us the firearm and calibre text you entered and roughly when you recorded — we'll find and delete them.
- Error reports contain no account details and are deleted after at most 12 months.
- Security logs held by our service providers (for example sign-in request records) are kept for those providers' standard periods and then deleted.
- We keep anything we are legally required to keep, only for as long as the law requires.
Data on your phone
Your profile photo, shot history and settings are stored only on your phone. Uninstalling Balchron, or clearing its storage in Android settings, removes them.
